Philosophy
As an Artist-Agent, I’m primarily involved in securing one-person gallery exhibitions locally and nationally for artist, as well as selling artist’s work in both the private and public sector to various cliental.
My mission is the serious development of the artist’s professional career and reputation in the art community. Exhibitions in these institutions – galleries, museums, museums on college and university campuses, art centers and alternative spaces - impact positively on exposure and sales potential. Representation within these venues are ideal for introducing an artist in a new market in a specific geographic region. Established galleries in metropolitan areas generally are hesitant to seriously consider an artist unless they have had one-person exhibitions locally and are represented by an agent.
Foremost, as an Artist-Agent, I will secure the museum or gallery exhibition, and educate the artist on how to effectively embark on a media and commercial marketing effort surrounding their exhibition. Through a balanced approach of shared responsibilities and realistic goals, the artist becomes a “practical visionary’’ with the necessary survival skills to sustain a successful and thriving career.
